A battle of number six and seven squads in the league table in this match. Both have been kind of disappointments despite their decent rankings and Manchester City has achieved five straight draws and have struggled to find the back of the net as of late. Liverpool has been up and down all season long and they need Gerrard in the lineup if they want to assure a victory. He very well might be in there and either way it is hard to bet against the Reds at home especially with the way Manchester City has looked since Robinho went down with an injury.
Final Prediction: Liverpool 2-0
With key injuries to the Gunners offense Darren Bent believes his squad has what it takes to upset another great team at home, but even though Arsenal’s injury list looks more like a grocery list I still like the Gunners in this one. Sunderland is coming off of a loss to the Spurs and a draw against lowly West Ham so expect the Gunners to cast a shadow over the Stadium of Light.
Final Prediction: Arsenal 3-1
Manchester United has technically dropped to third place, but the squad has done about as well as you can expect a squad to start the year. They look to bounce back from that Chelsea loss with a home win over Everton who has struggled often this year, but fought for many draws and close wins recently. Everton is currently in eleventh place and has to be disappointed with the start, but achieving another draw here would be huge for the middle of the pack team.
Final Prediciton: Man U 3-0
