1) Chelsea

I predicted Chelsea would win before the season and after surviving that near month without Drogba I still think Chelsea is the club to beat.  They have excellent depth and are still a contender for the Champions League as well.  Inter will remain a tough test in that tournament, but I think Chelsea could be on their way to having a very memorable year.  And I’m not talking about the Terry stuff.

2) Man U

Fergie has done an excellent job this year considering the fact that he lost one of the best footballers in the world this season and replaced him with a teammate.  But Rooney has been great this season and truly is proving to be one of the world’s best.  They still have a decent shot of winning either the Cup or the Premiership title this season, but the club does heavily rely on Rooney for success and so far this season that has paid off well.  They look fantastic right now, but Chelsea remains the pick.

3) Arsenal

The Gunners have had a tough run recently, but the squad has secured a comfortable margin between themselves and the rest of the competitive clubs.  Van Persie will return in the late stretch of the year and Arshavin will likely pick up the pace a little as the year plays out.  Fabregas is having a great year though and the Gunners are not title winners, but top four stuff.

4) Manchester City

I think Man City will give Arsenal a run for their money, but finish the season in the top four.  The club has played excellent since Mancini has taken over and Tevez has really impressed over the last few months.  The club will be tested by Liverpool, Tottenham, and Aston Villa, but the Blues have the most depth of any of those clubs and will likely outlast them all this year.
