Manchester United once again showed their “Never Die” attitude after successfully coming back from a three goals down to hold Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, providing a confidence boost despite the result creates a gap again with league leader Manchester City.
Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez once again acted as the Red Devils savior as the former bagged a brace, both from the spot kick, while the latter scored the decisive equalizer, which rescued important points for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.
Here are some highlights from the press conferences on Friday of Sir Alex Ferguson and Andre Villas-Boas ahead of the massive game on Sunday at Stamford Bridge:

Chelsea‘s manager, Andre Villas-Boas, revealed an interesting statement regarding his current managerial experience at Stamford Bridge, stating that he is actually not really stamping his authority in the dressing room.
Villas-Boas revealed that unlike some manager who can be a sort of dictator with his players, the former Fc Porto tactician admitted that he is having a different path by becoming more of democratic person.
For the second time, Chelsea‘s John Terry has been stripped of the England captaincy. The English Football Association confirmed that Terry was informed of the decision by FA chairman David Bernstein in a phone call Friday morning.
Terry is due to stand trial in July over racial abuse allegations after an incident with QPR‘s Anton Ferdinand and there has been mounting pressure within England to remove Terry as England’s captain ahead of this summer’s Euro 2012 competition
The FA released a statement on their web site which read:
All eyes will be on the prematch handshake at Stamford Bridge on Sunday to see whether Rio Ferdinand will shake the hand of the person accused of racially abusing his brother.
Rio is said to be furious at the way the FA is standing besides John Terry despite his impending court case, while in contrast, he was banned for nine months but the FA for missing a drugs test.
Ferdinand took to Twitter on Thursday to show his displeasure writing:
“I feel insulted….woke up with a bad taste in my mouth….its a god damn joke!”
Chelsea continue to hemorrhage money after announcing a loss of £67.7million for the financial year ending June 30, 2011.
That is only a slight drop decrease from the loss of £70.9million in 2010, as Chelsea struggles to fall in line with UEFA’s new financial fair play rules.
Since Roman Abramovich took over Chelsea, the blues have now lost a combined £620million.
Transfer fees were a main contributor to the loss, while the club was able to declare a record group turnover of £222.3million.
Chelsea’s succes in overcoming Queens Park Rangers on Saturday apparently brought some negativity for them as one of their important players, Ramires, was forced to leave the pitch with what looked to be a knee injury.
This situation is apparently worrying for the Blues’ manager, Andre Villas-Boas, who tried to be optimistic with his Brazilian midfielder’s condition, hoping that it won’t be a very serious knee problem for the ex-Benfica man.
Chelsea once again failed to maintain any consistency in their performance as they only managed a draw against Norwich City, despite controlling the match and created more chances especially in the second half but their inability to finish off their chances cost them two points.
The club’s ineffectiveness in front of goal once again being noted by the Blues’ manager, Andre Villas-Boas, as the cause of their current inability to stay close with the top three teams in the league.
Just as it was expected, Gary Cahill, finally arrived at Chelsea after the London club cashed out an amount around 7 million pound to Bolton Wanderers, so the England international can team up with John Terry at the back.
Revealing his joy after signing for the Blues, Cahill admitted that accepting Andre Villas-Boas’ team’s offer is something that he must passed on especially since the player is eying to improve his quality.
