by Philip Mboya on December 15, 2011

Carlos Tevez has for the first time spoken out on his future saying that he wishes to return to his old club Boca Juniors. The 27 year old revealed that going back to City was next to impossible and that it did not matter if he took a wage cut to make his dream a reality.

Speaking to Gente, Tevez also said that he was tired of shuttling to and from England.

“I don’t care if I have to take a wage cut. I’m tired of traveling and going back and forth. I’m not going back to England,” he said.

“[I want to] start the pre-season with Boca and play the Copa Libertadores with them.”

Tevez joined Boca Juniors in 1997 and left in 2004 after a successful career that saw him win the Copa Sudamericana, Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental cup.

A number of clubs have since showed interest in Tevez including: Milan and Frech club PSG. However, latest reports also reveal that Juventus are prepared to make City a 21 million Pound offer to acquire his Services.

Former player turned director Pavel Nedved has spoken to Mancini concerning the matter and is yet to get a response. Milan who had earlier offered City a loan deal with the option of buying him at the end of the season for £21 million.

The longer the stalemate continues, the worse it gets for Tevez. The Argentine has not played a competitive match since September 23rd. It is not known how long City will hold out for £ 25 million, however, the truth of the matter is that  Tevez cannot afford to continue relaxing at least if he wants to continue to remain competitive and play top flight football.

So far, the only disciplinary action taken against Tevez was fining him his 4 week wage allowances. City have however maintained that they want to dispose of Tevez before taking legal action against him.
