For me, I always went up, up, up in my career. I am happy,” Berbatov said. “I do not allow myself to be satisfied with what I have already achieved. Next season I will have new goals to score as many as possible, probably more than last season, win everything there is to win.”
Supporting Berbatov’s intention to stay put at United, the player’s agent, Emil Danchev, also confirmed that recent rumors about his client potential move from Old Trafford is nothing more than media talks. Danchev stated that the Bulgarian won’t be going away from United at least until his current deal with the Red Devils ends, shutting out rumors about Juventus’ interest towards the striker.
“The player will remain at Manchester United until the end of his contract,” Danchev stated. “I’m not interested in what the English tabloids write with regard to his presumed exit and what the Italian media report.”
