Manchester City troubled striker, Mario Balotelli, has hit the news once again after his dismissal in the Europa League tie against Dynamo Kiev which saw his team failing to overcome the 2-0 deficit in the first leg. The red card incident followed with his antiques, arguing with a Kiev fans on the way home, cost the striker dearly as not only the press slandered him a lot, the Italian international was also “punished” by the national team coach, Cesare Prandelli. Seeking for redemption, the ex Inter Milan man reportedly has asked Prandelli for some advice in keeping his act straight.
The news about Balotelli’s request for help comes from Prandelli himself, who admitted that the young striker spoke to him asking for some guidance in keeping his head straight simply because the player doesn’t want to be left out from the national team again in the future. The ex-Fiorentina coach stated that Balo is asking advices on what he must do to make things right as not getting into the national team seemed like a big blow for the troubled striker.
“I have heard from Balotelli. He understands that he made a fool of himself. He said to me: ‘I need help. I always ruin everything but I care a lot about the national team’,” Prandelli said.
Meanwhile, speaking about Balotelli’s condition, his agent, Mino Raiola, also admitted that at the moment his client is having a bad spell but it pretty much because of the media reaction towards Balo’s attitude rather than the player’s relationship with his club and coach. Despite the current bashing, Raiola do believe that the Italian international will come back even stronger in proving his worth to those criticizing him and also so he can wear the Azzurri’s shirt once again.
“It’s an unfortunate time for Mario, Nevertheless, there are no problems with his club or with coach Roberto Mancini. A part of the English media, the part I don’t respect that much, does everything it can to create drama. It’s not a happy spell, but he’ll come out of it stronger than before,” Raiola said.
Balotelli is widely known for his antiques behavior as it was also the thing that made his previous club, Inter Milan, agreed in letting him go despite the enormous talent that the Italian international possessed. Despite already joining Manchester City, the striker has made no secret that he has a dream to return and play in Serie A again, making a switch to the other side of Milan as the 20-years-old admitted himself as a big fan of Ac Milan.
