This is not good for TV…
Arsenal fought back against Stoke and won a very tight match 3-1, but in the match they lost Aaron Ramsey on really bad tackle and now they are stuck without Aaron Ramsey and all the pressure of this club rests on Cesc Fabregas. I’m not saying that Fabregas can’t handle it, but…
They are 3 points back on Chelsea and only 2 points back of United. It has got to be SO deflating to know that you really had some momentum going and now you’ve lost an impact player in a tough match that probably shouldn’t have been so tough. I know that Arsene Wenger is very disappointed that Ramsey is hurt, but what are you going to do? That’s why you play the matches!
Now comes the time when Wenger displays his coaching skills. Many times coaches don’t win anything, but a team is in a bad spot the coach is the only person who can fix things up in a way that makes them tenable for the team.
Wenger only has a couple options:
1. Shuffle everybody around and hope that he can maintain the lineup he has without putting a newbie in Ramsey’s place.
or
2. Find the next up-and-comer and hope that THAT kid is their new star. If he was to become a megastar then Ramsey’s injury would be the best thing that happened to Arsenal this season. They wouldn’t even have to rush him back, but they might have an outside chance of bringing him back late for a title run.
I hope that Arsenal can hold it together and make a run without Ramsey and show their grit. I know they have it in them. They got away from Aston Villa weeks ago and now they stand alone with United and Chelsea at the top of the table. Staying there makes this season interesting. Falling back makes it kinda sour at the end…

I think you’re looking at it from the wrong angle here.
Every cloud has a silver lining and this one, more than most. If you watched the game in its entirety, you saw the very end with the starting XI (less Ramsey) huddle together. This is a devastating blow to be certain, but the boys have already responded with unity. This is the inspiration they need to elevate them from their complacency. If they can win out, the title is theirs. You can bet they’ll come out with the fiery, chip-on-their-shoulder attitude that they began the season with.
