Getting ready for a big match clash on Saturday against Manchester City, Chelsea‘s manager, Carlo Ancelotti revealed some interesting stuffs to the press including the player he worries the most from the home team.
Just as it was stated on the Blues’ official site, Ancelotti named Carlos Tevez as the Citizen’s most dangerous player and the one that he wants his players to keep a close eye on next Saturday.
βHe (Tevez) is the most dangerous player of Manchester City, he has quality. He has power and very good mentality. I appreciate his kind of play and we have to pay attention,β Ancelotti said.
Judging from his statement, surely Ancelotti still remember the fact that Tevez was the player that is responsible in defeating Chelsea two times last season both at City of Manchester and Stamford Bridge as the Argentinian scored in total on three goals in both matches. The former Ac Milan manager will surely want his man especially the defenders to mark out the ex-Manchester United striker who has become much more instrumental for City this season.
Refreshing last season’s memory, despite of their wonderful record in the league, Chelsea had to admit that they were outshone by City in the league as the Blues were beaten 2-1 at City of Manchester and trashed 4-2 at Stamford Bridge. In the first game, Tevez was the one who got the winning goal for his team from a free-kick, while in the second meeting, the Argentinian bagged two goals to embarrass the home team that day.
With the absence of Mario Balotelli, Tevez will definitely be the main man that City manager, Roberto Mancini, will count on to lead his side’s attacking play. Chelsea’s two center backs, John Terry and Alex will definitely be kept busy for 90 minutes by the little Argentinian who will keep running and battling until the final whistle end.
