by Dewa Nugraha on June 6, 2011

60464613Having been heavily linked with Arsenal, As Roma and Aston Villa in recent days, former Chelsea‘s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, simply squashed away all of those rumors after the tactician stated that he will take a break from coaching job next season.

Ancelotti stated that he doesn’t want to rush things and preferred to take his time for the time being, watching football behind the scenes before returning again into the driving seat.

“Apart from a six-month spell, I have been working non-stop since 1995. I will take a year off to look around and study how my colleagues work, I am not going to train anywhere next season, as I am in no hurry,” Ancelotti said.

Moreover, Ancelotti also denied the rumors linking him with several English and Italian clubs by stating that he has never held talks with of the teams being connected to him, including As Roma. The former Ac Milan tactician stated that although he has plan to coach Roma in the future, next season isn’t the right moment for him in doing it.

I haven’t been contacted by any English club. As for Roma, I never spoke to anyone there and the rest was all fantasy. One day I will be the Coach of Roma, I have always said that, but it’s still too early,” Ancelotti added.

Revealing about his closest plan, the tactician said that he still plan to continue his live in London and organizing his current life before thinking about any future plan. This statement seems to be a surprising one as, despite being considered a failure in his second spell at Chelsea, the tactician actually have lots of admirers out there, that would be willing to take him. However, it seems that he is indeed looking to take a rest from his usual hectic and pressurize days as tactician, especially since in the last few years, he has been receiving many tough critics along with successes.

‘I have enjoyed this experience (of coaching in England). I will return to London to organise my life,” the tactician said.
