60464613Having a rather poor results in their last three consecutive matches, Chelsea‘s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, still have the utmost confident on his team’s strength in the Champions League and believe that the Blues will eliminate their opponent, FC Copenhagen.

Ancelotti stated that although his team are having a difficult period, playing in a prestigious competition such as the Champions League will bring out the motivation they needed to acquire great results.

“The Champions League is not easy, but it will bring a lot of motivation for every one of us, Chelsea won’t go out against Copenhagen. I think we have the possibility to win against Copenhagen,” Ancelotti stated. “We have to have the right pressure. We have to play against Copenhagen. We have 180 minutes to win this game.”

Chelsea will be facing Copenhagen next Tuesday, February 22, just few days after suffering a defeat in the FA Cup against Everton which pretty much leaving the Champions League as the Blues final hope to win a title this season. Fortunately for Ancelotti’s side, they don’t really face a tough competitor in the competition as the Danish team that their about to challenge are not on the same technical level as Roman Abramovic’s owned team.

Many pundits also believes that the results Chelsea’s get against Copenhagen in the Champions League will be an important judgment for Ancelotti’s managerial career at the club as the team’s under par performances this season have disappointed many fans. The Blues are looking to be out of the premier league challenge after already trailing around 12 points behind Manchester United and they even dropped out form the final fourth place in the league behind Tottenham Hotspurs.

Considering the tough condition that Chelsea are having this season, many speculation surely believes that Ancelotti’s faith is pretty much under a huge threat and it may just a matter of time before the Italian leaves the club. Answering to those possibilities, the former Ac Milan manager stated that personally he has no intention of leaving the Blues but should Abramovic decide otherwise, he would gladly accept every decision that the Russian Billionaire made for him.

“I don’t have to consider my position. It is the owner that has to consider my position, not myself.” Ancelotti said.
